Pentax SMC Pentax 67 75mm f/4.5

Wide AngleMount: Pentax 6775mmf/4.5 – f/32
Introduced: 1969

Wide-normal lens for the Pentax 67 system, sitting between the 55mm wide-angle and the 105mm f/2.4 normal. In 35mm-equivalent terms, 75mm on 6×7 corresponds to roughly 38mm full-frame — a moderate wide perspective, popular for environmental portraits, street/reportage, and landscape compositions where the 105mm normal feels too tight.

Originally released as the Super-Takumar 6×7 75mm f/4.5 with the Pentax 6×7 body in 1969, updated through SMC Takumar and SMC Pentax 67 generations. A later Pentax 67 75mm f/2.8 AL (aspherical, faster maximum aperture) was added during the 67II era for photographers wanting a faster wide-normal; the f/4.5 version remained in the catalog as the more compact and less-expensive option.

Mounts on the inner bayonet. 67mm filter thread, matching the 105mm and many other Pentax 67 lenses — convenient for sharing filter sets across the kit.
