Canon New F-1
Introduced: 1981 Discontinued: 1992

Canon New F-1 is the electronic refinement of the F-1 — in production 1981-1992, replacing the original mechanical F-1. The New F-1 added shutter-priority AE (with the AE Finder FN) and aperture-priority AE (with the AE Power Winder FN), plus the AE Servo finder for full automation, while retaining mechanical operation at higher shutter speeds (1/2000 down to 1/90 mechanical; below that requires battery).
